The Bricks of Honor, Stories of Valor is a memorial brick program led by The DeBary Foundation in partnership with the City of DeBary. The program honors members of the United States Armed Forces, active duty and veterans, as well as Gold Star families, through personalized commemorative bricks installed in the new Veterans plaza at DeBary Memorial Park.
The first phase of brick sales has completed. The project was celebrated with a formal dedication ceremony honoring the service and sacrifice represented in the plaza on Presidents Day 2026. Following the dedication, the Foundation opened Phase II of the Brick Program will all bricks ordered prior to Sept 5th each year being installed by Veterans Day of the same year. This affords the community an ongoing opportunity to participate.
The Foundation will continue to oversee the marketing and sale of customized concrete bricks, available in 4×8-inch and 8×8-inch sizes. Bricks are offered in standardized layouts that may include military seals, unit patches, individual medals, or warfare insignia, along with two or three lines of personalized text, depending on the selected design. Brick pricing will remain unchanged, and Gold Star families continue to receive a 15% discount.
This program offers a lasting and affordable way to honor a family member or friend whose service helped protect our nation.
Phase II pricing remains unchanged:
4x8 engraved brick: $100 ($85 for Gold Star Families)
8x8 engraved brick: $200 ($170 for Gold Star Families)
